On July 21, Change the World Markham (CTW Markham) led an event called Rock the World in collaboration with non-profit organizations: The Giving Tree Unionville, New Steps 4 U, and funded by Taking IT Global. This youth inspired event was a great success! Volunteers and Families came together and painted inspirational messages on rocks. The finished rocks are displayed around the Tree of Hope on Main St. Unionville. This event was a great way to get creative, inspire others, and enjoy the summer weather! “Only by working together can we change the world!” said Jasmine from Volunteer Markham. Thank you to all who participated in creatively bringing inspiration and joy to our community! Keep an eye out for these inspirational rocks left around Markham where youth have been “changing the world”.
