Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean New Year – The first day after the new (dark) moon is a religious and cultural festival celebrated by Chinese, Vietnamese and Koreans of Buddhist and other backgrounds as New Year’s Day. Tibetans may celebrate on a different day.
