Love Your Lake

TIME REQUIRED: 4 hours

We’re recruiting volunteers from lakefront communities to take part in a Community Science project, with the goal of picking up 100,000 pieces of litter from the shores of Lake Ontario!

Due to the Ontario stay-at-home order and COVID-19 restrictions, we have adapted our Love Your Lake program (once again!) to keep everyone safe while cleaning up the Lake. Instead of running public cleanups, our volunteers will carryout independent shoreline cleanups between May 15th and June 30th, collecting data on all of the litter they find.
