DESCRIPTION:The Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham is pleased to present the Art of Plenty: Art Show and Sale fundraiser! Join us at the McKay Art Centre between Tuesday\, October 4 and Sunday\, October 16\, 2022 to see a variety of art produced by local artists. A portion of the sale of each artwork helps the Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham continue to provide support to the Varley Art Gallery of Markham\, a vital cultural hub in our community. \nSave the date for the Art of Plenty opening reception at the Varley Art Gallery on Tuesday\, October 4. Tickets to the opening reception are only $20! Ticket sales open on Sunday\, August 7. From October 5 –16\, admission to the art show is free of charge. \nWe are currently accepting artist submissions for the show. Your journey starts with the purchase of a ticket. You will be given hints and clues to collect all the items needed to be entered for our grand prize. This event also features entertainment\, a gourmet meal and drinks\, live and silent auctions. You will be helping Evergreen support people in your community coping with a life-threatening illness\, caregiving or grief. \n
