DESCRIPTION:\nAngus Glen Golf Club is excited to officially announce a new annual walking light show experience\, Fairway of Lights at Angus Glen Golf Club\, coming this winter. \nAfter nightfall\, guests are invited to follow the path through the woods and experience the excitement\, mystery and celebration of the winter season in lights.\nThe illuminated 1 km walking path takes guests on a magical adventure on our North Course\, beginning on Coyote trail and circling back down the 18th pathway to the clubhouse. DESCRIPTION:In November 2019\, York Region Council approved a place-based approach to developing York Region’s Community Safety & Well-Being (CSWB) Plan and authorized a process to identify geographic areas of focus. DESCRIPTION:Are you interested in leading a project to support mental health & mental being or housing stability in South-Central Markham? \nIn 2019\, York Region Council approved a place-based approach to developing York Region’s Community Safety & Well-Being (CSWB) Plan and authorized a process to identify geographic areas of focus. United Way Greater Toronto (UWGT) has partnered with York Region\, Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) and Social Services Network (SSN) to support a place-based Community Action Table (CAT) in South-Central Markham to help deliver on the CSWB plan. In South Markham\, the local priorities identified were:\nMental Health & Mental Well-being\nHousing Stability \nAs part of this work\, UWGT has provided Agincourt Community Services Association with fifteen-thousand dollars ($15\,000) to support local neighbourhoods to explore and initiate new actions in parallel with the work and priorities of the Community Action Table. \nResidents\, agencies and grassroots organizations from South Markham are encouraged to apply in order to address the local priorities.
