DESCRIPTION:BRAVE York Region 2023 \nSaturday\, June 3\, 2023 \n9:30 am to 2 pm \nDetails: The Salvation Army\, at our location at Northridge Community Church\, will be hosting a BRAVE event where we expect upwards to 60 girls aged 12 – 16 plus volunteers to attend.  \nRegistration link: www.northridgesa.com/brave \nBRAVE is a 1-day event to remind girls that they are valuable\, and worth being celebrated. There is an encouragement for them dream big for what their future can be. Our goal is to give them a boost of confidence and self-esteem and inspire them to be brave. \nBRAVE intentionally reaches vulnerable girls (foster care/probation/sexual abuse/divorce) who are at risk of human trafficking. \nBRAVE sees empowerment as the GOAL. We want girls to be strong and free. \nBRAVE celebrates diversity—all colors\, shapes & sizes! \nBRAVE connects the community and the local church to work together. \nBRAVE believes girls are the solution not the problem. \nPlease forward the BRAVE 2023 York Region poster to girls aged 12 – 16\, parents\, guardians\, foster parents\, service providers\, etc  \n
