Success Story
The Believe Initiative, founded by Olympian Sarah Wells, is looking for capable and passionate student leaders to run a Believe Leadership Chapter at their school! The Believe Leadership Course that each Chapter facilitates, will teach important leadership, entrepreneurship, and mental wellness skills to high school students all while helping them earn volunteer hours.
You will set up, recruit members, and execute a 7 week student led program to help your members build leadership skills and complete a Believe Passion Project.
The Cross-Cultural Community Services Association (TCCSA) assist newcomers to settle and integrate into Canadian society each year. They offer settlement services, language and skills training, and community services. Their programs are well diverse and suitable for all ages.
Please visit their website https://tccsa.on.ca/ and follow them on Instagram @tccsa.ontario and Facebook at TCCSA for program updates and volunteering opportunities.
Current opportunities listed on the Volunteer Markham database include Youth Connections Committee Members and General Virtual Volunteers Needed. Check out the database to learn more about these and other opportunities.
